  A dinner for military members and their families will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 27 at Hazen City Hall.

  A special meeting of the Mercer County Water Resource Board is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28. The tour will start at 10 a.m. and the meeting will commence at 1:30 p.m. CT, at the law offices of Lange & Donovan, PLLP, 206 Central Ave. N., Hazen. This meeting is open to the public.

  The Mercer County Ambulance Board meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 at the Ambulance Bay.

  Due to the rain, the Hazen Chamber is rescheduling Pocket Park cleanup to Wednesday, May 29 at 10 a.m.

• 06/08/2013 Lewey and Mary Buri honored on 50th anniversary
•  -  Central

  Friends and family will join the family in celebrating Lewey and Mary Buri’s 50 years of marriage with food, fun, old time music and dancing. The open house will be from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the Hazen City Hall. Live music begins at 6 p.m.

  St. Paul Lutheran Church of rural Hazen will celebrate its 125th anniversary June 21-22, 2014. They will create a memory album and would like the congregations’ help.
