School concerts

The Wilton High School Band and Choir concert will be on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Wilton Gymnasium. This concert will include the 5th and 6th grade bands along with the High School Band and Choir. The Wilton elementary music program will be on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Wilton Gymnasium. The Preschool and Kindergarten will have a short program to start the evening followed by the musical “Flakes” performed by first through sixth- graders. The Wilton PTO is sponsoring a bake sale following both concerts with proceeds going toward new sound equipment.

Craft and Vendor Show

The Holiday Craft and Vendor Show will be held Sat., Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Washburn Memorial Building.  Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wilton Lions Santa Day is set for Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Wilton City Hall. Pancakes and sausage served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Santa arrives at noon. All are welcome.

Washburn Baptist Women will host “Christmas in America”, a mother-daughter tea, at 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4, at the Washburn Baptist Church. Special musical guests are the Northern Lights Barbershop Chorus from Bismarck.

Soup’s on

A soup fundraiser is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Lewis and Clark Senior Center. Soups and crackers donated by the Captain’s Cabin. All proceeds will be donated to the McLean Family Resource Center.
