Make burlap wreaths
Join NDSU Extension in making a unique, burlap wreath. Registration limited to 12 per class. Classes set for 6:30, Dec. 9, at Turtle Lake SCD; 2:30 p.m., Dec. 10, at Max Senior Center; and 6:30 p.m., Dec. 12, at ND 4-H Camp, Washburn. Call 701-462-8541 to register.
Jungling benefit Saturday
A Christmas Concert Benefit in honor of Shirley Jungling is set for 7 p.m., Dec. 10, at Sanctuary of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Max. Jungling has been undergoing extensive cancer treatments. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food pantry. Fellowship will follow the concert – a collection of voices from the local community. 701-240-5344.
The Hometown Holiday Extravaganza, sponsored by the Underwood Civic Club, will be presented by the Hometown Holiday Choir, the Just For Kix Dancers, the Underwood Comettes, as well as some special guests, starting at 6:30 p.m., this Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Vonderheide Gymnasium Admission is free. A live Nativity scene will be held immediately following the show, located at the St. John’s Lutheran Church parking lot on the corner of West Roosevelt and Summit Street, just south of the school.
Kids Club to meet
Kids Club will meet after school, Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the school lunchroom.
