Time zone hearing quickly approaches

As a public hearing approaches, nearly 250 people, businesses and local governments have left comments for the Department of Transportation regarding the proposal to switch Mercer County from Mountain to Central time.

The public hearing to collect the public’s comments on Mercer County’s potential switch to Central time will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 14 at Hazen City Hall in Hazen. The hearing is scheduled to end at 10 p.m.
