Beulah council talks growth
City councilors got a break this week when few agenda items allowed for a faster-than-normal meeting. The brief meeting focused on an upcoming special meeting of the Beulah Planning and Zoning board and a new Beulah police officer.
City attorney Scott Solem said he was still working on the transfer of the Zion cemetery lots to the city. Solem noted that there were copies of Ordinance 396 that would have its first reading when the council meets for its first meeting in February. The ordinance concerned a rezoning of the old Boeckel mobile home park that would be addressed at the Jan. 23 special meeting of the city planning and zoning board.
