After spending a year as Hazen’s primary setter last season, Payton Borud is finding her transition to middle hitter is paying off this fall.

The senior collected five kills in last week’s action as the Bison swept Center-Stanton 3-0.

"She’s a good athlete so any position you put her in she’s going to do well," Hazen head coach Linette Irwin explained. "She’s being very effective and her hitting proficiency has been pretty good."
