Cougar victory doesn’t dim Wildcat bright spots

When Center-Stanton head coach Brett Eckert looked down the sidelines at 20 prospective players to begin the season, it made the him smile.

During last week’s road game against Central McLean, that smile was gone as his 20 players dwindled down to just a dozen dressed due to injury.
