Johnson trio downs Wildcats

Playing with a lead is not Center-Stanton’s strong suit.
The Wildcats frittered away a six-point lead before settling for a 49-36 defeat in non-conference girls basketball action Monday night.
“It’s the girls not understanding how good they are,” coach Drew Erhardt explained. “Once we get a lead on the board they get shook up and start thinking they are going to make mistakes. Then that leads to them making mistakes. Right now we are just mentally getting in our own way.”
