Slow start leads to stellar Wildcat finish
Either on the court or in the classroom, mild-mannered Jesse Henke never shows emotion.
That was until last Thursday when he broke out of his shell at just the right time. Trailing nearly the entire contest, the Center-Stanton junior came alive to score eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 45-38 Wildcat victory.
“He came through at a crucial point, it was a tight game. He got open and knocked down the shot,” coach Jamie Entzi explained. “He didn’t hesitate and that’s what I like to see. We have a lot of guys that can shoot it but I told them you just can’t hesitate to put them in.”
