3 Center-Stanton athletes are playing solid legion baseball

Center-Stanton student athletes are making an impact on the local legion baseball landscape this summer. Jesse Henke, Danny Henke, and Brenden Sweeny are playing for Washburn’s legion baseball team and playing well. Washburn has posted a strong 16-4 (10-1) record this summer.
Jesse Henke is an outfielder that pitches a little bit and has a batting average of about .370. He has played baseball for quite sometime. Jesse has played with head coach Kip Erickson for four years.
