Turning around with her back to the net, the 5-foot-7 junior had something to say. "This is ours, right here," the typically beaming face roared. With a couple claps of her hands the Hazen setter turned back around to await the serve.

Payton Borud wasn’t wearing her usual glowing bright smile. She wasn’t jumping up and down and the spring in her step was a little off. Borud, along with her teammates, had a mission. Down two games in the Class B State Tournament Championship match against Kenmare Saturday, the Bison dug deep to find out what they were made of.
