For two teams struggling to get back to the .500 mark, last Friday’s rivalry game between Beulah and Hazen felt more like a championship atmosphere.

And there’s no doubt each side brought their "A" game, but in the end the Miners combination of transition offense and perimeter presence moved them one step closer to their goal. The 78-74 victory keeps Beulah 2-0 in District 14 action, 4-6 on the year.
