Bison blanked by Wolves, turnovers

After an impressive three-game winning streak, Hazen might have forgotten how inexperienced their football team was.

Last Friday night the second-ranked team in Class A football, Watford City, sent them a 43-0 reminder. The Bison helped their foes with several turnovers that put the Wolves in scoring position.

"We talked a long time ago about our youth and inexperience. We didn’t think that was playing a part in games but boy it showed up on Friday," Hazen coach Rick Philion said. "Teams like (Watford City) don’t make mistakes very often."
