Bison boys even district record with R-T win

When Hazen gets hot, look out.
The Bison boys basketball team shot a blistering 75 percent from the field Jan. 11 to overtake the Richardton-Taylor Raiders 83-46. The win moves Hazen to 1-1 in District 14 action.
“One of the things we talked about with the kids before we went on the floor was playing with a high amount of energy and to take care of the ball,” coach Randy Johnson said. “I think we did that. We had 15 turnovers which is a few more than we would like but the difference is, we also had 28 assists. That ratio is what you really want.”
