Hazen wins exciting set but loses match

The Hazen Bison won the first set 35-33, but lost the match 3-2 (33-35, 20-25, 25-18, 25-18, 15-12). The Bison learned that the momentum in a game can change really quick Sept. 18 against Richardton-Taylor.
The first set of the night opened with nine ties in the extra point play. The fist tie that forced extra points was made by Richardton-Taylor on a ball perfectly hit to the boundary line and ruled in. Tayler Dockter couldn’t kill the ball on the next play and R-T took the lead 25-26. The Bison lucked out to force the second tie of the set when R-T served it out of bounds.
