Birthday wishes can’t save Bison

The announcer of the Glen Ullin and Hazen volleyball game made birthday announcements to two crowd members in the stands. But even birthday wishes failed to lift the Bison to victory in the Oct. 2 match. The Bison were swept in three closely contested sets.
The Bison were fighting a battle short on troops. Dakota Wood, the team’s starting libero was sidelined with an injury, so the Bison chose not to play with a libero.
