Hazen outside hitter Sarah Grimm picked apart the Beulah defense at the right time. The 5-foot-9 senior put down her team’s final five kills and registered the 3-2 match victory in District 14 action Sept. 14.

After two days, 502 miles and six matches the Hazen volleyball ball team returned home with new knowledge about themselves. The Bison won five matches and lost one on the road at the Volley in the Valley tournament is Casselton. They placed third in the gold division after taking the tournament the year before.
