Trojans blank Garrison/Max

The Trojans volleyball team upped their regular season record to 10-0 with a 3-0 win against Garrison/Max Thursday night, October 8, on the home court.
Jordyn Sondrol kept her 10-game streak of double digit kills going as she recorded 13 for the evening. Jenna Bayless slammed down 10 kills and was the leader in aces with five. She also was the block leader with four. Devon Belisle lead in digs with four and Rachel Hanson dished out 24 assists.
McKaila Matteson led Garrison/Max with five kills, four aces and one block. Chelsea Bendickson led in digs with tw0 and Sierra Lassila was the leader in assists with six.
The Trojans jumped to an 8-2 lead in game one with Jenna Bayless scoring on a pair of aces and a kill. Jordyn Sondrol pounded down a pair of kills.
Garrison/Max scored a couple of points on a block by Brianna Johnson and a McKaila Matteson-kill.
From there it was back to the Bayless-Sondrol scoring machine with Sondrol getting a block and three kills, one from the back row. Bayless put down three kills: the last a monster kill for game point as the Trojans rolled to a 25-9 win.
Garrison/Max took a 3-0 to start game two with Matteson and Johnson getting kills. The Trojans got on the board with and ace from Taylor Fylling. A kill from Taralee Anderson tied the game at four each.
A kill from Johnson put Garrison/Max up 6-4. A kill from Sondrol made the score 6-5 Garrison/Max. Bayless tied the game at seven with a kill.
The Trojans scored six unanswered points to take a 13-7 lead. Bayless put down four kills with assists from Rachel Hanson in that run.
A couple of kills from Johnson closed the gap to 13-9.
Back to back aces from Fylling, a kill from Anderson, and another ace from Fylling put the Trojans in front by a 22-13 score. Sondrol finished off the game with a pair of kills for a 25-14 win.
