Lions roar past Trojans

Jenna Bayless was the leading shooter for the Trojans with 20 points in a 75-37 loss to the Linton Lions Monday night at Linton. Kayla Schneider led the Lions with 20 points.
The Trojans started out well, taking an 11-10 first quarter lead, but fell behind 28-25 at the half.
The second half the Trojans handled the Lions’ press well for a few minutes. Then turnovers, fouls and cold shooting by the Trojans led to a 54-31 third quarter lead for the Lions. The Lions continued increasing their fourth quarter lead, as the Trojans’ reserves played most of the quarter.
The Trojans next game is a double header on Jan. 5 with Hazelton MB on the home court.
