Trojans beat Parshall Braves

The Trojans girls team was on the bus to Parshall last Tuesday night, Feb.8, where they defeated the Parshall Braves 69-36.
Jaimee White Bear was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 20 points. Kim Tkach and Kelsey Everett also scored in double figures with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
Nicole Pachineau was the Braves’ leading scorer with 20 points.
The Trojans led at the end of the first quarter, 23-15, getting points after Braves’ turnovers caused by the Trojans’ press.
In the second quarter, the Trojans struggled in the scoring department only scoring five points but still led 28-25 at half-time.
The second half the Braves hit a scoring slump and the Trojans were the opposite. They scored 41 points during the second half and won, 69-36.
The Trojans finish up the regular season this week with a home game on Feb.15 with Minot Ryan. Then it is back on the bus to Drake/Anamoose on Feb.18 and Shiloh Christian on Feb.19.
