Trojans win first match

The Turtle Lake-Mercer-Mc-Clusky Trojans defeated the Sawyer Flashes three games to zero for their first win of the season.
The winning streak didn’t last long as the Trojans were defeated by the Grant County Coyotes, three games to one, to put the Trojans’ season record at one win and four losses.
The Trojans are on the bus for the next three games: Sept 11 at Washburn; Sept. 13 at Towner/Granville/Upham; Sept. 18 at Center/Stanton.

Sabrina Laframboise led the Trojans with 13 kills and Sabrina Rust tallied 30 assists.
Mara Roteliuk was the Flashes leader with nine kills.
