The Trojans girls team was on the bus to Parshall last Tuesday night, Feb.8, where they defeated the Parshall Braves 69-36.

Trojans win five

The girls and boys teams combined won five games this past week. The Trojans girls’ team won games against Center/Stanton, 83-31; and Wilton, 51-43.

Trojan girls win; boys lose

The Trojans played a double header with Towner/Granville/Upham Titans on the home court Saturday afternoon. The girls won in overtime, 55-49, but the boys let one slip away, 76-75. Trojans 55-Titans 49

Trojans stop Mustangs 42-38

The Trojans girls team evened their season record at six wins and six losses with a win over the Surrey Mustangs Monday night on the home court. Kelsey Everett was the Trojans’ scoring leader with 12 points. Chantel Urban led the Mustangs with 16 points.

Not a good week for Trojans

The Turtle Lake-Mercer Mc-Clusky Trojans came up on the short end of the score in four games this past week. Monday night the boys were on the bus to Minot Ryan where the Lions defeated the Trojans 51-37. Thursday night the Washburn Cardinals defeated the boys 51-49 on the home court. The girls were also defeated by the Cardinals 48-25. Saturday afternoon the girls traveled to Fessenden to play Harvey/Wells County. The Hornets defeated the Trojans 63-35.

Trojans runners-up

The Washburn Cardinals defeated the Trojans, 58-39, in the championship game of the McLean County Invitational Tournament in Underwood this past week. Max defeated Underwood 53-28 in the third place game; Wilton beat Mandaree 46-36 for fifth place; and Garrison defeated Hazen JV 44-35 for seventh place.

Trojans beat Aggies and Indians

The Trojans picked up a couple more wins this past week to put their season record so far at eight wins and two losses. The Trojans traveled to Jamestown Dec. 18, where they defeated the Four Winds Indians, 68-58. On Dec. 21, the Trojans defeated the Velva Aggies, 74-72, in over time at Velva.
