Eagles improving despite first loss

The New Town Eagles boys basketball team suffered its first loss 50-39 against Washburn in the McLean County Shootout in Garrison Saturday, but bounced back with convincing back to back wins on the road Monday and Tuesday beating the Divide County Maroons and Trinity Christian Crusaders.

The Fort Berthold Community College Lady Storm might have enjoyed some home cooking, but the injury plagued women’s basketball team wasn’t cooking on the floor as they fell to the Bismarck State College Lady Mystics by a score of 93-57 at the New Town High School Gymnasium on Nov. 19.
