Grapplers qualify 12

The Velva-Garrison-Max Aggies capped off their Region 3 Dual title by qualifying most of their wrestlers at last weekend’s Region 3 Individual Tournament in Rolla and taking another title. The Aggies claimed first place, getting by Rolla-Rock Lake-St Johns 218-191. RRLSJ qualified 10.
While representing Region 3 in the state dual contest, 12 Aggies will also compete on an individual basis, led by 285 pound champion Troy Jespersen, who was also named Co-Senior Athlete of the Year.
Also winning titles for the Aggies were Adam Dean at 103, Austyn Kittelson at 130 and Jacob Duchsherer at 171. (The top four finishers in each weight class qualify for the state individual tournament.)
