Aggie cagers win two

The Aggies added two games to the win column last week, taking down Westhope-Newburg 58-40 at home, and then pummeling Dunseith 72-50.
“I thought we got out to a fast start, which always helps,” said Velva Coach Matt Weidler of the WN game. “We had 22 offensive rebounds, which is good, too.”
Pacing the Aggies were Michael Wiest and Josh Sandy with 14 points each, followed by Zach Podoll with 12. Levi Anderson sank 6, Jon Mack put in 5, Taylor Bauer had 3 and Chandler Mack and Taylor O’Shea had 2 each.
On the boards, Podoll and Jon Mack pulled down 10 rebounds each, Anderson grabbed 9 and Sandy had 7.
