Girls are hot, hot, hot!

The Aggie netters went to six consecutive regular match wins last week, taking down Dunseith 3-0 and then beating Towner-Granville-Upham 3-2.
The Aggies won the Dunseith match 25-10, 25-16, 25-16. Jaylene Newman had 5 kills, Jaci Norbury had 5 aces and Allison Manley had 4. Norbury also had 12 assists and Rachel Pfennig handled 7. Defending the court, Brittany Berndt had 4 blocks and Haley Heiser had 8 digs.
In Towner, the game stretched out to five matches after Velva won the first two 25-17 and 25-23, then gave up two, 20-25 and 26-28, before winning the rubber match 15-3.
Manley paced the Aggies with 11 kills, Berndt had 10, Weidler nailed 8, Emma Keller and Newman 6 each, Pfennig 4 and Norbury 3. Delivering aces were Weidler with 4, Manley 3, Pfennig and Newman 2 each, and Norbury and Berndt, an ace each.
