Girls lose tough battle

The Aggies came out at the Region 6 Volleyball tournament last Monday night firing on all cylinders, but a determined Mohal-Lansford-Sherwood squad came back from a 2 game deficit to snatch victory from Velva.
Velva came out and took the first two games 25-10 and 25-22, but the Mavericks came back from a 14-9 deficit in the third game to win the match 19-25.  MLS went on to take the next two games 18-25 and 11-15, ending Velva’s hopes of advancing in the this year’s regional play.
