The Velva cross country team was in Rugby last Saturday, and finished sixth in a field of 26 teams in the girls varsity division.

The Velva volleyball team hosted the Anamoose-Drake Lady Raiders last week, and won 3-0 in three tight matches – 25-20, 25-21 and 25-17.

Aggies shut out L&C/OR

The Velva gridiron crew traveled to Berthold last Friday to take on regional foes Lewis & Clark/Our Redeemer’s. They handed th Bombers a 38-0 drubbing and came one step closer to claiming the second place seed in Region 3.

Aggies fall to Stanley

An old rivalry was renewed in Stanley last Friday night, and Velva came out on the short end of a 16-8 score. Coach Larry Sandy noted it “lacked the intensity” of previous Aggie-Blue Jay match ups.
