The State Equalization Board has ruled. Oliver County real estate taxes will increase 2 percent on all structures within the rural area. This does not include the cities in the county. Oliver County Tax Director Jacky Schulte said the state board’s final decisions were made at the end of September. "Ag land stayed the same and they allowed the additional 1 percent down on commercial structures," Schulte said.
