CSHS financial audit comes out OK

Settling the issue of when to hire a new superintendent, the Center-Stanton School Board decided they would determine this at a special meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18.

Previously, they had set Feb. 15 (or until filled) as the deadline for applicants to replace Royal Lyson, who is retiring June 30. At the Feb. 10 monthly meeting, board member Chris Christianson reported the personnel committee had received two applicants for the job thus far, one from current CSHS Principal Curt Pierce. Christianson proposed hiring Pierce during the meeting.
