Schmidt’s Suffolks named 2011 Master Sheep Producer

Rick Schmidt was a boy of 6 when he was given his first bottle lamb. That first, hands-on experience with a lamb has since been cultivated and honed by years of education and experience.
His wife, Renae, also raised bottle lambs growing up as a way to support her college education. Together they began raising the black-faced breed, becoming Schmidt’s Suffolks.
