CCC hopes for ‘informal resolution’

The North Dakota Association of Coal Conversion Counties reported to the North Dakota Attorney General’s office that it hopes to reach an “informal resolution” to accusations the board violated the state’s open meeting laws.
BHG Inc. publisher of 12 weekly North Dakota newspapers including the Hazen Star, recently requested an opinion from the AG’s office in reaction to a series of emails CCC Chairperson John Phillips sent to board members Jan. 26-27 seeking board consensus on sending him (Phillips) on a trip to Washington, D.C.
