There were no Easter eggs out on the new grass infield at Washburn over the April 9 weekend but opponents of the Washburn-Wilton-Center-Stanton baseball team were seeing their share of goose eggs last week.
In the first two games of the season, WWCS knocked out Garrison 21-0 and later Central McLean 10-0. The games allowed for the Cardinals to get the bats swinging and see some variety out on the plate.
