County brims with money issues
The Oliver County Commission was feeling rather generous at its meeting Friday. The three commissioners agreed to give money to a local nonprofit group courtesy of leftover funds from a NextEra donation.
Barry Berger, a representative of Sporting Chance, asked for funds to build two shelters on the west side of Nelson Lake. The structures, with a cement slab over the ground, will be used during the annual water ski event in June. The remainder of the year the two structures can be host to various events, such as family gatherings, reunions or picnics.
