Housing incentive, early retirement discussed at C-S board

The school will begin paying certain teachers a large lump sum in the near future. But only to those that meet the requirements.
Five years will have passed at the end of the school year since a housing incentive was offered to incoming teachers and administrators of the Center-Stanton schools. Every year that teachers or administrators continue to work for the school district while also owning a house in Center they gain $2,000. The money is then placed in a CD for five years.
