‘… do something remarkable:’ HHS graduating 64 on Sunday

Hazen High School Class of 2009 Salutatorian Clay Brinkman has been named a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship – an academic achievement that HHS Principal Ed Boger hasn’t seen in eight years as principal. And the intelligent senior isn’t even class valedictorian.

The fact that Brinkman doesn’t have valedictorian honors speaks deafeningly of the quality young adults in the HHS Class of 2009. On Sunday, those 64 remarkable people that make up the class of 2009 will graduate from HHS, with commencement exercises beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the HHS gym.
