‘The Music Man’ set to take the stage June 25-27

The cast and crew that comprise Sakakawea South Shore Community Theater are ready to provide talented performances of "The Music Man," taking the stage beginning at 7:30 p.m. June 25-27 at the Hazen High School Theater.

But it hasn’t been an easy road.

Preparation for the production hit a hiccup when Director Steve Behrens and his wife, Hazel, set designer, were in a car accident and are temporarily in wheelchairs while they recover from their injuries. To fill the director’s void in the Behrens’ absence were Aaron Johnson, Assistant Director Jean Kaspari and Leigh Kaspari.

"It’s coming together very well," Leigh said. "Everyone’s coming together really nicely."
