Mercer County Fair trumps inclement weather

Fair organizers had everything ready to go for this past weekend’s 35th annual Mercer County Fair, and everything went according to plan.

Everything, that is, that was in the organizers’ control.

"I think it was just excellent," Mercer County Fair Board Director Darold Benz said of the fair. "The exception was the weather Friday night – but not much you can do about that."
