Commission issues on the ballot

The questions of whether to increase the number of county commissioners and how to elect those commissioners are officially in the hands of Mercer County voters.

According to Mercer County auditor Monte Erhardt, petitions on whether to increase the number of Mercer County commissioners from three to five, and whether to elect those commissioners at large, were submitted to him April 10 to be placed on the June 12 Primary Election ballot.
