City feels the departure of commissioners at final meeting

Sixty percent of the Hazen City Commission attended their final meeting Monday at Hazen City Hall, though left their mark in the form of a budget amendment.
The commission approved an amendment of $45,000 to the remaining six months of the 2012 budget. The adjustment was made to account for the departure of water and sewer Commissioner Ken Link, city auditor Sandra Bohrer explained, who possessed professional engineering knowledge and handled guidance of the city’s day-to-day engineering operations.
