Election brings turnover on Hazen City Commission

With several contested local races and contentious statewide measures on the ballot, Mercer County voters turned out in large numbers to vote during the 2012 Primary election June 12.
According to Mercer County Auditor Monte Erhardt, 3,179 votes were cast either by mail or at the Beulah and Hazen polling sites on election day. The Beulah polling site reported 253 votes and the Hazen site reported 405 votes cast on election day.
