City to take part in $9.7 million loan program

Hazen and 37 other municipalities are expected to finalize agreements to receive $9.7 million for a businesses loan program from the U.S. Department of Treasury, according to a press release.
“Basically what it is for is to feel in that gap for financing for business that don’t have access to that money,” said Brent Ekstrom, director of commercial lending for Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council in Bismarck.
