Commission rejects highway dept. suggestion

STANTON -- The Mercer County Commission accepted a bid for a front end loader from RDO Equipment Co. against the highway department’s recommendation during a meeting.
The commissioners unanimously voted Dec. 19 at the County Courthouse to take the bid from RDO, though Highway Superintendent Roy Braun suggested they buy from Butler Machinery Co.
