Justice Center officers complete training

Last week the Gerald "Tex" Fox Justice Center welcomed four newly trained Correction Officers back to their staff. They are Gary Everette, Garrison and Kyle Loren Craig, Addison Baker, and Alonzo Jones, all of New Town. The four men worked for the center prior to the training.

PRC to be rebuilt

The Parshall City Council authorized the organization, which provides substance abuse counseling, to demolish half of its building in downtown Parshall. The PRC plans to build a more up to date facility on the site and add a 600 sq.ft. room for group therapy sessions.

Hands on science excites area students

When students hear Sharon Smith, NDSU Extension Agent from the Mountrail County Office, rolling her stacked cases down the hallway at Parshall Elementary School, they become excited about the science lesson they know is coming. The reason is that hands on science is a winner in the classroom.
