DFS Gala a big success

A record number 98 guests attended the DFS Spring Gala at the Star City Golf Course last Saturday night, filling all 12 themed tables. Organizers don’t yet have the final figures on money raised at the event, but said the response was overwhelming.
Guests vote on the table decor, and for the third consecutive year, Effertz Black Butte Acres snagged first place with this year’s theme, “Rock and Roll Grandmas and Grandpas.” Second place went to Flaten Insurance with “Beaner’s Braiding,” and third was awarded to Poynter Ag Supply with “Camping and Fishing.”
