Where are your kids? Do you know? If you’re a parent who’s aware of the after school program in Velva, you do! If not, maybe it’s something you should look into.
This year, Velva Area Elementary School received a grant through its NCE (North Central Education-21st Century Community Learning Center). The grant will allow after school programs to expose local students to a wide variety of enrichment activities aimed at enhancing their academic learning and while connecting it to the students’ world.
