Cindy Ziman was named member of the year when the Beulah Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet Monday.
Ziman was honored for her dedication to the chamber, as well as for her service during 2013 as the president of the organization.
In her statement looking back at 2013, Ziman noted that it had been a great time to be involved with the community and 2014 was looking bright as well.
“As we look back to the previous year, we have made some changes along with our continued success and growth for many of existing programs,” Ziman said. “This last year we had nine greeter team visits in Beulah. These small changes are just a few ways we can make positive changes and enhance our chamber organization. As always, our mainstays such as the Dakota Walleye Classic, Steak-Fry, Fish-Fry, Big Buck Contest, Mercer County Fair and Chili-Bingo night continue to flourish with great attendance from the community for these fun-filled events.”
