Contested council seat in Ward 3: Reinhardt
This year the one contested seat on the Beulah City Council exists within Ward 3. Both incumbent Darwin Reinhardt and challenger Kirby Morgenstern are seeking the four-year seat. Due to a prior conflict Morgenstern was unavailable to provide his perspective by the time this paper went to publication. His perspective will be published in next week’s issue.
Reinhardt has lived in the area all his life, graduating high school in 1974. He was first appointed to the council in 2001 and ran for council successfully in 2004 and 2008. Reinhardt has worked for Basin Electric at Antelope Valley Station since 1977 as a control room operator. He has three grown children.
