City signs waste management extension and beer garden
Mayor Sandy Olin brought the City Council meeting to order at 7 p.m. Monday in the Betty Hagel Memorial Civic Center. After quickly settling the opening mower bid the council moved on to key issues including trash, a street dance and a liquor license.
The trash issue was brought to the City Council by Paul Kalibabky. Kalibabky asked the city for an extension on the current waste management contract. He went through his salesman points. He stated his main points that included, everything would stay the same, free recycling, free service to churches and city owned buildings and that his company would continue to contribute $200 toward Center’s scholarship fund.
