Sharp 3rd quarter pulls C-S Wildcats over Hazen

Some wins are sweeter than others. With the storied past of teams that come out of the Center-Stanton and Hazen programs, the two town’s proximity creates a natural rivalry. So the Wildcats took no small satisfaction in rallying from a four-point halftime deficit to win 67-62 in Hazen.

Injuries plague hockey’s first week

The Hazen-Beulah boys hockey team was hoping to come out of the opening weekend starting the season off on a good foot. And after two long road trips, their feet were about the only thing that ended up well. Three players were injured last Saturday as the North Stars cruised to a 4-1 win over Wahpeton for non-conference hockey action.
